Sensear has introduced the SM1R IS, an intrinsically safe certified version of the SM1R. The SM1R was used at this year's NFL Super Bowl to protect ground and audio visual crews during the halftime show festivities. The SM1R combines Sensear's innovative SENS technology with light, user-friendly design, an NRR Rating of 27dB and state-of-the-art noise-canceling boom mic.
The brand new SM1R IS version is certified to some of the most stringent intrinsic safety standards: TIA-4950-A, CSA C22.2 No. 157.92, & UL 913 5th Edition with a hazardous location rating of Class I, II, III, Division 1 & 2, Groups A - G, T5, -25°C to +60°C.
Currently compatible with these Motorola and Kenwood Radios.

The SM1R and SM1R IS headsets are built specifically to enhance two-way radio communication in high-noise environments such as construction, manufacturing, sporting events, concerts, as well as potentially explosive environments like power plants, mining, oil, gas, refineries, and chemical processing plants.
